It’s almost time!

I’m very excited to start my next 365 project! I’ll start tomorrow with my first daily theme photo. For my friends and followers, please be sure to keep an eye on My Project 365 Friends’ blogs (listed on the right) – there are at least 5 of us doing this together, so there will be a lot of great photos!

A photo blog is a bit boring without a photo, so here is Kristi – grounded to a chair after breaking her bedroom window.

Good news!

Well, good news for those who enjoyed following my 365 project. I’m going to start another one in 2010. I have had waaaay too many days when I didn’t even pick up the camera. Myself and a few friends are going to do a new 365 project based on themes – we’re each choosing our own themes – so it will have a different twist. I will be doing a different theme for each day of the week…Sunday Snapshots, Monday Monochrome, etc… I’m looking forward to it!

So…don’t delete me from your reader! I’ll be back with lots and lots of pictures in just a few days!

Just one photo to share

We had a dessert social sort of thing for the Community Choir this evening. Here are the goodies I took. They’re red velvet/peppermint petit fours with candy cane sprinkles. I thought they looked festive.

I got the recipe for these from my Facebook friend Nancy P. – here’s a direct quote from her Facebook page…
"Super Duper Easy Petit Fours - just tried this recipe and it's a hit! You'll laugh at how easy it is. Bake a cake (any flavor) in a 13x9 pan. Let it cool for at least 45 minutes and then crumble it into a bowl. Stir in one 16oz tub of frosting (your choice of flavor) until blended. Chill mixture in frig (mine was in there overnight, but not necessary) - roll mixture into balls or use a melon baller -place balls in freezer for one hour. Melt bark (again your choice of flavor...chocolate, white chocolate, etc) and dip cake balls, Remove to wax paper and add sprinkles, nuts, coconut - whatever.”
