12/365

I had an unusual subject for Texture Tuesday – my Suburban! We had freezing rain this morning, and my vehicle was completely iced over. This is actually a combination of two shots – one of the blue hood with a shot of the icy windshield laid on top as a texture at a low opacity.

And this was just for fun, and just cuz I could. I got the action for this from panosfx.com – it’s from a set called The BnBig Picture.

Here’s one more shot – a before and after of yesterday’s photo. Thanks to Melissa Bradfield for pointing me to the patch tool!! Whoohoo!

When I saw the "thumbnail" on my dashboard I thought it looked like waves on a lake or river...
It turned out really neat. I like what you did for fun... turned out great. Great work with the patch tool.

Great job on the church photo edits! BTW, had a friend tell me she slid on an icy patch walking her son to school today. Yes, in FL!

great job on the patch! and I love the texture shot, I bet that will work really well as a texture over photos as well (i'm starting to get addicted to textures on black and whites!)

Great macro!! I love icy shots like that!! Unfortuantely, we haven't had much freezing weather in these parts, so none of those shots for me.

And I really really like the panosfx!! I'll be using that soon!!
