Just another monochrome Monday! (Did anyone else hear The Bangles when they read that?) This is a church just down the street. I edited with my own normal workflow, then used CoffeeShop Creamy Chocolate on this twice, then put the brand new photo corner template from CoffeeShop on it for a somewhat old-timey look.
Photoshop gurus…what would be your suggested method for removing the car and garbage can from the lower right?
And while I’ve been working on this my mini-geek has been working hard too…

I Love your Edits! ... and adore those little Churches.
I downloaded the corners too. Can't wait to use them.
Beautiful photo and it is great in black and white. The kid is too cute working on the computer.
clone the trees above the car and stuff.bc
I did try that, but I guess I'm not a very good cloner. I couldn't make it look realistic.
Very nice!! We don't have too many little churches like that out here and I totally miss driving by them!! Thanks for the memories!!
Definitely fit well with the church.
beautiful!!
love this;) i would def clone it!!!
Can you put a vignette around it to add more emphisis on the church? I am not a good cloner either! I have the creamy chocolate.... never thought to run it twice :) Like the antique look it gives ;)
Hey Elli,
great looking little church and the post processing is awesome!
I'll have to look into that Creamy chocolate.
I'm not a great cloner either.
Your little guy is so cute - look at him working. LOL
LOVE the pp on this image, coffeeshop is such a great site! I would try the clone/patch tool and just bring the darks from the trees down, might be a little tedious but I think it could be done...but I really stink at cloning lol, if I can't patch it with the patch tool it usually stays in the shot :P
We have a few churches that are still that small here. I love a smaller church too! Love the choices for monochrome!
Cool shot! I would try the patch tool too..good luck.
Love it..... I would use the clone tool.
LOL @ Mini-geek.
