It is a rainy, yucky, icky day today. But my daughter and her friend still wanted their picture taken.
I need a really good portrait lens! I got them as far away from that fence as I could, but my current lenses just don't open up far enough. Christmas is coming...Christmas is coming...

You could try some selective blurring in PSP to get somewhat of the effect you want.

They are so sweet! I have the same prob w/ my lens. Unfortunately, I'm the one that funds Christmas and there's nothing left over for mom!
