Day 141

I only had opportunity to snap a quick shot of the SNOW on March 16. GRRRRR! Spring is almost within reach...can we be done with snow now? This was taken with a low shutter speed (1/8?) to get streaks of snow instead of the no-longer-magical flakes.

Day 67

Whoooo-eeee! This is the latest I've posted a 365 post! It's been a very busy day...

This morning we took the kids to Kmart to use their Christmas cash and gift cards. It was like Christmas all over again!

After Kmart we to Perkins for lunch...the kids were all VERY well-behaved! I love it when we take them out in public and they put on their sweet, kind, mannerly faces.

This afternoon was snowy, but beautiful here...

 

This is my neighbor's house - we call it the Gingerbread House.

After getting several inches of snow today, it warmed up and turned to rain, which turned all that snow to slush. Ewch.

Ken, Mom, and I went to the auction this evening...I didn't take my camera, but I had a great time anyway. :-) I got a few great bargains (Mom, did you need a springform pan?), and had fun with my sweetie and my mother. And I can't wait to give a fabulous collection of cake pans to my baking friend!

Day 66

Another snow day! Here is our neighbor, Rose, catching snowflakes...

I'm too tired for any narrative today...

And another late addition...this dog is so cute! (good thing too, cuz she can also be a pain in the patootie.)

Day 64

It's only 10 o'clock in the morning and I'm already posting my 365! That's because it's been a very photo-worthy day! It started with a photo of my neighbor's outdoor Christmas tree with a couple inches of snow on it...it was very pretty in the dark.

Then, as it was getting light I stepped out to take some shots of the snowfall...it was snowing pretty well, and the next-door neighbor's trees looked really nice. I didn't get any good shots of their trees because a little, furry figure caught my eye...

This little guy was plowing the snow off the power lines! I'd never seen a squirrel do this before!

As it continued to snow, the boys (big and little) just couldn't stand it anymore...

Naterbean got beaned with a snowball!

I wouldn't be surprised if I'm back with more photos later today. Considering how many I've already taken, this could be a big photo day!

They were dancing and singing the Frosty the Snowman song! They are just too cute!
