I got out my mirror for today's photo - and I cleaned it! The Daily Shoot assignment was "Make a photograph of something metal or metallic today with an emphasis on how light interacts with the surface." I used the mirror to get more "light interaction" because using a less reflective surface was just giving me a soft look. I wanted it to look more metallic, and the mirror really helped. I thought the scratches in the green bell helped too. 
On a personal note, I got to Skype with my beloved brother this evening. Definitely the highlight of my day!! I love love love love love Skype!
