Today's Friday Challenge was "Colors of Fall." We do have trees changing color, but I wasn't able to take the time to capture any of them today. I did take Fancy out for a mini-session for senior portraits - we plan to do two more locations on a day with better weather - and since she was wearing fall colors, she's my "colors of fall" submission.
We went out to the Refuge again - it's such a great place for photos! For this photo she leaned against the fence on the ball of her left foot (so her heel wouldn't dig into the dirt) with her right high heel stuck on the lower fence railing (it actually took her a longish time to get her shoe unstuck!) while I was precariously balanced straddling a metal gate to get a shot of her from slightly above. The things we will do for a good photo. If I'm not mistaken, she was laughing at her stuck shoe when I shot this photo. Fun times.
For those who have wanted to see my neighbor's yard in its entirety - I will post photos of it tomorrow. I took some today, but I don't have them on this computer, and the other computer is uploading Ken's video assignment for school.
