Another Little Man picture…being adored by yet another kiddo. He has quite the fan club around here.

Blessings:

1. A great group of people to work with. I love going to a company meeting and laughing while we work.

2. Coffee. This was one of those days when a keg of coffee would have been fine.

3. Progress. Little Man may not be speedy at hitting the gross motor milestones, but he’s working on them. He can roll over and over both directions, sit up for about 2 seconds unassisted, and hold on to a toy while he chews it. These are all things he wasn’t able to do a month ago.

4. Minions. I did something to make my shoulder complain, so I’m only half capable today. It is a blessing to me to have a bunch of able-bodied minions to do my bidding.

5. A basketball hoop. My kids have suddenly been enthralled with our basketball hoop again, and all of them have spend considerable time out in the driveway shooting hoops for the last couple days. I love it because there’s much less fighting when they play basketball. (It seems that basketball is important in Scrivnerburg!)

It's the season for basketball!

Ken and the kids were out playing basketball again this morning. I decided to try some higher speed action close-up type shots with my 7d.

The basketball hoop our neighbors gave us was one of the best gifts the kids have ever received.

If you like to watch a crowd of kids play basketball with a crazy man, check this out...it's just boring old basketball in Scrivnerburg. I admire a man who will play with so many young kids. I admire it, but I don't join in it!

How 'bout a video today instead of a photo? The basketball hoop from our neighbors was such an awesome gift! The kids have had to be dragged inside since we got it! Whoohoo!

Today's Daily Shoot assignment was to take a picture of a pleasing composition of 3 items. My neighbor brought over a BUNCH of tomatoes, so I picked out 3 with different colors and used them as my subject...before Nathan and Austin could eat them! The oblongish ones are romas, and the red one is a cherry tomato. Yummy!

The same neighbors also gave us a basketball hoop! We really have great neighbors all around us. The family had a good time playing with the hoop and all the balls we could find...

I'm sure the reason this shot went in the hoop is that Kristi was jumping along with Ken.

I just loved the expression on Nathan's face as he watched his ball go in!
It was a happy Sunday in Scrivnerburg.

Day 36

My boys and their ingenuity...

This is yet another creation by my oldest son:

Day 36

(I didn't dare move it to a less distracting placement - it's only supported by wood in the bucket, and I was afraid of dislodging it.)

Basketball, anyone?
